Hyderabad, March 27, (Telangana Press News): National Christian Council leaders have met the State Education Minister Mrs. Sabitha Indra Reddy and discussed several matters pertaining to education sector with her.
National Christian Council, Founder President Dr. Sam Paul assured that the activity of NCC is to propagate the Schemes of the government to all the eligible and appreciated the Education Minister and the Chief Minister Sri. K. Chandra Sekhar Rao Ji for several good schemes that are introduced for the welfare of people. He said that the aided schools were started by the missionaries with a zeal and commitment to educate the downtrodden of the society and the vacant posts are not being filled up. He requested the Telangana government to consider to immediately fill up the vacant posts of the aided schools. It’s so disheartening to see the bright and shining schools, once the centres for any education now in deep crisis. He requested that the Telangana government take immediate steps to care for the aided schools by filling up the vacant posts.
Telangana State Children Wing President Brighty Beulah said that in Bangaaru Telangana the Divyang Children should be treated specially by converting all the IERPs as S.G.T. s. She reminded that the IERPs are working through the TSSA and are handling 21 kinds of disabilities to bring the special children into the mainstream society. Many of them are working for long years very faithfully in their job of taking care of the special children. Just like School Assistants the IERPs too should be made available to the children at all times in the school so that their needs can be catered. Special DSC should be conducted and she explained that just last week the A.P. Government has launched Minimum Time Scale (MTS) calculation method for all contractual employees and it should be noted she said. She requested that to ensure that IERPs be available at all times in schools just like the School Assistants all the IERPs be treated as SGTs by regularizing them and by sanctioning of equal pay to them.
Telangana core committee chairperson Rev. KS Prakash Rao said that NCC leaders will work in close coordination with the District Officers to extend all possible cooperation in all the local places of Telangana.
They requested that every girl student in Telangana be given a Bicycle as a gift from the government.
Responding to the discussions Minister Mrs. Sabitha Indra Reddy assured that all the policy matters will be taken up with the Chief Minister soon.
