NCC Telangana State Leaders Meeting held

NCC Telangana State Leaders Meeting in Hyderabad.  Rev. Dr. Stephen Chittibabu National President spoke the word of God on the subject of Abraham being the friend of God and how a friend’s relation is one of the best in human relations and that we agree to be and go with a friend without even asking why and where.  It was very admonishing to all.

Dr. Sam Paul shared about the ethos of NCC and said that in all the wings we need to have good membership without which our presence and essence of our unity will not be recognized in the society or with authorities.  He suggested that Youth Wing, Prayer Wing, Students Wing and Women’s Wing have membership in thousands and possibly in lakhs in a given period of a quarter or few weeks.  He gave an update of various states and how they are all moving forward and today the 25th State is added into NCC as Jammu and Kashmir has joined as of today after several months of deliberations.  NCC Jammu & Kashmir 

Brother Sanjeev Tenali who recently took up the responsibility of National General Secretary said that we have to diligently work for NCC to progress in all the States of India and also internationally.  He encouraged all to be committed to the cause and suggested that in a short time to have a goal of having at least 10 to 15 members from each Church in India as NCC Members.  He pleaded that all the leaders should work towards this goal. 

Bro. Karunkar said that we need to be more rigorous in our efforts and that regularly in Sattupally area almost every week a program happens for NCC and all the public, other community leaders and authorities approach NCC for any Christian community issues all the times.  He announced that there will be a state level meeting to bring 39 Districts leaders to Hyderabad on 26th August 2022 for a special gathering and for strategizing for our community for the coming days. 

Rev. Prakash Rao said that we should have bigger gatherings of 5,000 or more leaders to be heard in a democracy.  If the leaders are united he said we can negotiate much for our community from any authority and he cited the recent meetings that NCC Telangana leaders had with the Honorable Home Minister Mr. Md. Farukulla and Honorable Minister for Education Mrs. Sabitha Indra Reddy.

Dr. Babu Rao said that most districts are now organized and we will move faster in completing the other districts and completing the formation of 33+6 GHMC Zones, a total of 39 Districts in the State in the NCC Structure. 

Mrs. Brighty Beulah said that this NCC platform and fellowship could be used to benefit more Churches and people as we will be a part of the national movement and that could get more attention from the authorities and leaders.  She cited few examples of how several activities could be done in the recent past including the good police cooperation that she could obtain from 4 different police stations for the good friday Motor Rally for sharing the gospel. 

The meeting went well and the new committee of Telangana State was announced with Bro. Alavala Karunkar as the State President, Dr. K. Babu Rao as the State Working President, Rev. KS Prakash Rao as the State Core Committee Chairman and several District Chapters were announced. 

Mrs. Esther Rani, the National Divyang Wing President, was given her appointment letter and responded saying that to her level best she will mobilize leaders and do justice to the post especially by informing about the various schemes for Divyangjan at the Centre and in various state governments.   All the newly appointed leaders were given their appointment letters. 

Several other leaders spoke and encouraged the gathered leaders.
