National Christian Council Jammu and Kashmir Chapter Launched
The National Christian Council held a meeting in Jammu to Launch it's 26th State Chapter of Jammu & Kashmir (UT).
A delegation of several NCC leaders came to Jammu to pray for the state of Jammu & Kashmir and for the country of India.
Speaking on the occasion NCC Founder President The. Rt. Rev. Dr Sam Paul said that as J & K NCC is launched we dedicate ourselves to pray for peace and communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir and for it's rapid development in all spheres. He said that the Prime Minister's special financial package to Jammu and Kashmir should be implemented fully and social justice done to about 15 castes / communities especially to the Kashmiri pandits.
NCC leaders that represented here from include Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Delhi & NCR, Telangana and a huge number of 41 NCC leaders from Andhra Pradesh State well coordinated by AP State General Secretary Bro Manoj Bob For a long time he coordinated all the logistics and details of this launch program.
Bishop Younas Massih is the State President, Rev. David is the General Secretary and several other positions were announced. Soon the State and Districts Chapters will be started with 17 wings at state and District levels.
Mr RS Kalsotra State President of All India' Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organizations welcomed the gathering and said that the Confederation always supports the issue of Dalit Christian Reservations and that all Dalits irrespective of their religion should get benefits designed for them.
Mrs Brighty Beulah, From Founder President Office Team presented a Hindi Song written by her father who is a long time servant of God. Sis Sheba and Sis Kala rendered a special number.
Rev. Dr. Victor Emmanuel AP State Executive Vice President introduced NCC and presented that we should be united and render good service to Church and to the society. The leaders that spoke include Mrs. Sylvia Jaideep Namburi Archbishop Swaminadulu, Mr Alavala Karunakar, Rev Ford, Bishop Prasad Paul joined by several local Christian leaders.
