Minister for Minority Affairs (MoS) has invited NCC Leaders for Special Christmas Gathering in Delhi in his official residence.
The following delegation of NCC Leaders met with the Honourable Minister of Minority Affairs Shri John Barla on 20 December 22 at his residence.

As the above leaders were invited by the Honourable Minister to participate in the Christmas Special Gathering, he gave a lengthy time to the NCC Delegation to discuss various matters.
The following matters were presented to the Minister:
1. Founder President Dr Sam Paul apprised the Minister about various developments throughout the nation in relation to Christian community.
2. Nagaland State President Rev. Dr. Thungdemo Lotha enquired about any educational Institution that could be set up in Dimapur in NCC banner to help the needy students with the cooperation of the ministry.
2.1 Prior to the Meeting with the Minister Mrs. Esther Rani National Divyang Wing President who has over 21 years of experience in teaching / training the teachers of Special Children / Divyang Children along with Mrs Brighty Beulah, National Vice President who also has over 10 years of experience in teaching Special Children have spoken at length with Rev. Lotha about starting an Institution / College to educate students to be special children educators. The Institution here could be with that focus too.
The Minister suggested to coordinate locally with the Education Minister and send a proposal through proper channel and that he will process the matter.
3. Pastor Samuel Jehu Overseas Programs Director submitted an invitation to the Minister to Inaugurate / Participate in NCC International Leaders Conference in Israel. The letter can be seen by clicking here: https://nationalcouncil.in/mma/confabroadinfo.pdf
The minister said in due course he will confirm his presence.
5. Mr. Caleb D Kenny National Vice President Administration presented the matter of increasing persecution and special reference was made to Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh incident and requested the minister to please follow up to see the culprits booked and such incidents should not be repeated any where.
The Minister said that there is a written response to this submission from NCC and that he and his office will follow it through. 6. Rev. Dr. Ravi Beatty Gujarat State President has submitted a letter to highlight that in Gujarat State Minority Offices, Christian Representatives are not given any posting. 7. Pastor Nanda Kumar Gurung NCC North East India President who hails from the Minister's home Constituency has outlined several meetings that will be held in the North East India Region and invited Honourable Minister to participate.
The Minister immediately telephoned few local organisers in Assam and in other States and informed them to coordinate with NCC and with Pastor Nanda Kumar Gurung.
6. The Minister graciously gave a lengthy time to take pics with the delegation and also with individual leaders of NCC.
This was followed by the Christmas Gathering in the same premises.
