Hyderabad, 15 October 2023: A consultation of civil society’s key leaders was held today organized by the Jamiat Ulema Hind. On the theme of Current Situation and Our Way Forward. The President of Jamiat Ulema Hind Moulana Asad Madani was the Chief Guest. All major religions’ representative participated.
NCC Founder President Dr. Sam Paul spoke and implored that the Current Situation in India is not as envisioned by Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar and that there is a dire need to educate our own communities in being responsible to vote and that we should hold the public leaders accountable after they are elected to office. He also reminded how LKY – Mr. Lee Kuan Yew has turned the small fishing boats city state of Singapore into a developed country by eradicating corruption, introducing multiracial acceptance and while preserving mother tongue introducing ENGLISH language to all.
Rev Brighty Beulah National Vice President, shared her views on the current situation and referred to her condemnation of violent attacks committed against Women in Manipur, She said that it’s a shame that the bodies of women are used for purposes of revenge in any riots. She further appealed that the women of our nation that are over 48 percent need to be given space to do better in all their endeavours. She said to achieve this, we need to Develop Leaders and that NCC is committed to do that in 28 States of India.
Several prominent leaders participated that include Justice Chandra Kumar, Prof. Kodandaram the brain behind the emergence of the State of Telangana. Prof. Gali Vinod Kumar, Dean of College of Law, Osmania University, Mrs. Shanta Sinha an Internationally renowned Child Rights Activist , Ambassador Rev. Dr. Adv. Solomon Raj, Rev. Dr. Fr. Raju Alex, Rev. Dr. Fr. Kondaveeti Anthaiah, Secretary of Telugu Catholic Bishops Council (TCBC) and several others.
