International Day for Persons with Disabilities Celebrated in NTR District, Andhra Pradesh

Mr. Jalli Abraham, NCC NTR District Divyang Wing President, Felicitates Differently Abled Persons

 

On the occasion of International Day for Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December 2024, the NCC NTR District Divyang Wing felicitated various differently-abled persons from the local area. In a grand function arranged in Kanchikacharla with the sponsorship of Yesurakthame Jayam Ministries, Pastor Abraham honored 25 differently-abled persons for their grit and tenacity to face life against all odds.

 

Local Tahsildar (MRO) Smt. Jahnavi graced the occasion as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, she said that differently-abled persons can achieve a lot by being determined and keeping an open and positive mindset. She appreciated the hard work of Mr. Jalli Abraham and stated that the government is always supportive of the differently-abled in all aspects, whether it be in monthly stipends or conducting aids and accessories camps. She promised to assist whenever they needed help from the government and donated Rupees 5000 on the spot.

 

Dr. Bokka George Muller, the NCC Andhra Pradesh State President, stated that differently-abled persons are also created in the image of God. He encouraged them to depend completely on God and to stay close to Him. He assured them that the NCC would support them in difficult times.

 

Mr. Jalli Abraham presented all the differently-abled persons who attended the meeting with a new pair of clothes. Other guests of honor included Rev. M. Shyampaul, Founder Pastor of Yesurakthame Jayam Ministries and NCC Kanchikacharla Honorary President; Smt. M. Beulah, NCC Women’s Wing President; Pastor Shalom; and Pastor Ephraim. The meeting was very helpful in mobilizing support for differently-abled persons and was deeply appreciated by those with disabilities.

 

Those who participated in the program included Rev. M. Prabhu Prasad, NCC NTR District Working President; Mr. G. John, NTR District Treasurer; Mr. A. Madhu Babu, Nandigama Mandal Working President; Mr. N. Immanuel, Kanchikacherla Mandal President; and all NCC Kanchikacharla Mandal Committee Members.
