Jangaon District Chapter Launched

The Telangana State has launched Jangaon District Chapter of NCC. In a key leaders meeting in Unruhpur Baptist Church, Jangaon Rev. Dr. Devasahayam was appointed as the District President and Rev. K. M. John had graciously consented to be the Honorary President of the NCC Jangaon District.
The Key leaders meeting was led by the National Vice President Mrs. Brighty Beulah and several Telangana State leaders and National leaders participated in the program.
Speaking on the occasion Founder President Dr. Sam Paul has elaborated on the goals of NCC and how in different states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, North East and Jammu Kashmir NCC had made a good progress with various activities by bringing the Christian Community together of all denominations and uniting the leaders from both the clergy and the laity background.
The State Core Committee Chairperson Rev. K. S. Prakasha Rao has elucidated on the recent meetings of various Telangana State Ministers like the Minorities Welfare Minister Shri Koppula Eshwar https://nationalcouncil.in/updates/nccupdates/187-ncc-leaders-meet-shri-koppula-eshwar-telangana-minorities-welfare-minister and how the NCC Telangana State leaders are in touch with the key authorities to complete the work of the Christian Bhavan and seeing that all the NCC Districts Chapters are launched soon and to become fully functional.
National Secretary Bro. D. Caleb Kenny encouraged all saying that NCC is not belonging to any one denomination and that the Lord can use any one or a few that are deeply committed to HIM. He elaborated on the Cultural, Students and other wings of NCC and wished the District of Jangaon to do well.
The Chairperson of the Meeting and National Vice President Mrs. Brighty Beulah explained in detail how NCC gives a good platform for the leaders in a local place to be associated with a national organisation and how this is yielding good results. She remembered how on her letterhead submissions were made to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minster Shri. YS Jaganmohan Reddy to suggest to include more eligible Pastors into the honorarium net of that government and how it blessed many. As State Children Wing President she informed that we have not only represented the needs of Christian Children but ALL children of the state to the Minister of Education Smt. The State Working President Dr. K. Babu Rao has announced the District President, a long time Medical Doctor and a Pastor too Rev. Dr. Deva Sahayam who thanked all for deposing trust in him and said that the full District team will be formed shortly for all the 17 Wings and Constituencies and for the complete District committee.
Rev. K.M. John a renowned local leader, well respected for his varied ministries for LONG years, who is also leading over 100 Churches took a lot of time to thank the NCC for coming to Jangaon District and reminisced how recently there were issues like the burial grounds and other difficulties in the local / rural areas that can be helped by coming together in this banner. He admonished all the leaders that we should not be expecting what we will get but be committed to serve our community and to glorify the Lord in our posts in NCC. As an educationist and a senior leader he also appreciated various messages shared in this meeting and blessed the leaders to go forward with more enthusiasm. He consented to be the Honorary President of the District and received the letter of appointment.
NCC GHMC Hyderabad East (LB Nagar) Zone District President Bro. Daniel Reddy shared his greetings and explained how the NCC platform has helped him to move on in his ministry to go to any authorities and obtain the needed permissions in his ministry.
NCC Maheswaram Constituency President Bro. Samuel shared his greetings and said that there was a NCC District launch in his Church recently and he is working with many local Christian leaders and organisations to enhance the NCC Membership and to build the leadership team.
This meeting was opened in prayer by the Baptist Area President Rev. Devadanam and was closed in prayer and in benediction by Rev. K.M. John.
